Please note that attendees should plan to reserve a hotel room by the end of January, as availability (and the conference rates) may not be available after January 30, 2012. In order to receive the conference rate, please let the hotel reservation staff know that you will be attending the SNDE conference at Istanbul Bilgi University.

By Airport Shuttle “Havaş” or "Havatas"

Cost 10 TL from Ataturk Airport= 5 euros

Cost 14 TL from Sabiha Gökçen Airport= 7 euros

Located in front of the airport when you go out, you will see the shuttle service called “Havas” or "Havatas". The shuttle will take between 40 to 60 minutes to reach Taksim Square. Taksim Square will be the last shuttle stop. Germir Palas Hotel and Nippon Hotel are located just across the street in the Talimhane hotel area. Hotel Briston, Hotel Troya and Hotel Monopol are a 15 minute walk from Taksim Square. Depending on your luggage and knowledge of Istanbul, you may either walk or take a taxi to the these hotels. A taxi will cost around 5-6 TL (3-4 USD).
